I grew up in the city of Morelia, México. In 2021, at the age of 17, I got the opportunity to study my final years of high school in the United World College (UWC) of Maastricht (Netherlands). This experience changed my life in many ways, one of them was the decision to study film. Since a young age I have always had interest and curiosity in the arts, nevertheless, I had never imagined the possibility of pursuing an art career until I came across my first film class in UWC. Here I realized the complexity and the beauty of filmmaking, as well as the impact it can have on social change and education.

After finishing UWC in 2023, I took a gap year where I developed my film and photography skills, and had the privilege to attend a film semester program at Prague Film School during fall of 2024. I was later awarded a Davis United World Scholarship, which has allowed me to continue my filmmaking studies at Ringling College of Art and Design, where I am currently a second year student.
